A Japanese Stripchat model with hundreds of thousands of followers might seem more likely to charge a premium for a Private Show.
But does popularity actually translate into higher Private Show prices?
To find out, we analyzed the same dataset of 53 Japanese Stripchat models used in our 2026 Private Show price study.
We compared follower counts with Private Show rates and also looked at models who did not offer Private Shows at all.
Among the 26 performers with a listed Private Show rate, the correlation between followers and price was only +0.25.
In other words, more followers did not automatically mean a higher Private Show price. However, there was one interesting exception: models charging the highest rate in our sample — 250 tk/min — had noticeably larger audiences.
Popularity Had Only a Weak Relationship With Private Show Prices
Across the 26 Japanese performers with Private Shows available, the correlation between follower count and per-minute price was approximately +0.25.
A positive correlation means prices had some tendency to increase as follower counts increased. However, +0.25 is relatively weak and far from the kind of relationship we would expect if popularity were the primary factor determining price.
The individual models make this even clearer.
Our sample included performers with relatively modest follower counts charging 200 or 250 tk/min, while some models with audiences well above 100,000 followers charged only 90, 120, or 150 tk/min.
So based on this dataset, follower count alone is not a reliable way to predict what a Japanese model will charge for Private Shows.
I’ve watched and reviewed hundreds of Japanese Stripchat models, and follower count has never been a reliable shortcut for judging Private Show prices. Some highly popular models keep their rates surprisingly low, while less-followed performers may charge premium rates.
The Most Expensive Models Were Noticeably More Popular
The overall correlation was weak, but the picture changes when we isolate the highest-priced group.
Five models in our sample charged 250 tk/min, the highest rate we recorded. Their average follower count was approximately 213,400, while the median was 121,700.
Compare that with the 12 models charging 200 tk/min: their average was approximately 71,100 followers, with a median of 58,300.

The 250 tk/min group therefore stands out from the rest of the sample.
However, this does not prove that popularity causes models to raise their prices. With only five performers in the highest-priced group — and some large accounts pushing up the average — the safer conclusion is that high popularity was more common at the premium end of our sample, even though the overall relationship remained weak.
200 tk/min Was Common at Very Different Popularity Levels
The most common Private Show rate in our Japanese sample was 200 tk/min.
Twelve of the 26 performers with Private available charged exactly 200 tk/min — approximately 46% of the sample.
What is notable here is that 200 tk/min was not limited to the biggest accounts.
Models charging this rate appeared across very different follower levels, suggesting that 200 tk/min functions more like a common Japanese Private Show price point than an exclusive premium reserved for highly followed performers.
This supports what we found in our broader pricing analysis: 200 tk/min was both the median and the most frequently observed Private Show rate.
Popular Japanese Models Do Not Always Offer Private Shows
There is another reason follower count cannot explain Japanese Private Show pricing on its own: many popular performers did not offer Private Shows at all.
Across all 53 Japanese models we checked, 26 offered Private Shows and 27 did not.
Surprisingly, the models without Private Shows actually had a higher follower count in our sample.

This does not mean that becoming popular causes a performer to stop offering Private Shows.
It simply shows that a large audience does not necessarily make a Japanese model more likely to offer one-on-one sessions. Some highly followed Japanese performers operate without a Private option and use other show formats instead.
This is something I often notice in Japanese rooms. A large follower count doesn’t necessarily mean Private is the main attraction — some popular performers focus much more heavily on Public, Ticket, or Group Shows.
For viewers, that means popularity and Private availability should be treated as two separate factors when choosing a model.
So, Do Popular Japanese Stripchat Models Charge More?
Our analysis found a weak positive correlation of approximately +0.25 between follower counts and Private Show rates among the 26 Japanese performers offering Private Shows.
The highest-priced 250 tk/min models were noticeably more popular as a group, but that pattern did not extend consistently across the other price levels.
Meanwhile, 200 tk/min appeared across models with very different audience sizes, and some of the most-followed performers in the full 53-model sample did not offer Private Shows at all.
The clearest conclusion from our data is therefore:
Popularity may play a role at the premium end, but follower count alone does not determine Japanese Stripchat Private Show prices.
